Coming full circle

Hi!

Today, it’s time for yet another one of my ultra short stories namely micro/flash fiction, of which I have written two previously. Find the link to those right below!

The walk

Crossroads

And with that, let’s get rolling with our day’s work!

Coming full circle…

Coming full circle

Frowning, he looked at the calendar once again to be sure. That couldn’t be true, he thought. For the date marked an entire year since the day he had sworn to change his life. So much had changed since then.

Yet….. Yet he couldn’t help but feel that nothing had actually changed.

For it felt as if, even after all the time and the efforts,

He had come full circle after all.

I have mixed emotions. Not about your writing, but about the meaning of the story. It seems to be written about me. SO much has changed in my life the past year, but yet I still feel like not much has changed. I still feel like I’m right were I started.

Well done fitting all that in so few words.

Wow! You expressed so much in just 72 words. It took me a while to grasp and understand it. 😅 But then I read the comments, re-read the piece and understood…
